PROJECT: Fire Door Compliance Works 2024
Client: ATG Entertainment
Location: London
Principal Contractor: Red Dot
Project Value: £200,000
The project involved the repair of specific fire doors and the complete replacement of selected door sets, all carried out in accordance with current regulations and specifications and in line with the findings and recommendations of RB Consultant’s report. Where repair was not viable, fire doors were replaced to ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements. Associated decorative works and repairs to door surrounds were also completed to all affected areas.
A key challenge of the project was delivering the works within a live theatre environment, with the venue remaining fully operational and subject to a demanding performance schedule throughout. The works commenced in February 2024 and were completed over a 15-week programme.

CN Projects was appointed to deliver the Project Management, Principal Designer, and CDM roles, ensuring effective project delivery through proactive coordination and regular, efficient site audits.
PROJECT: Relaunch 2025
Client: ATG Entertainment
Location: London
Principal Contractor: MYCO
Project Value: £ 1.4 mil
ATGE undertook a feasibility study to improve customer flow at the New Oxford Theatre, with the aim of enhancing the overall customer journey, increasing spend per head, and resolving critical pinch points within the building. Following this study, a series of improvement “lots” were identified and structured into a phased delivery approach to minimise operational disruption while maximising impact.
The project was divided into two phases. Phase 1, delivered over a six-week period in FY26, focused on Front of House and internal improvements, including foyer upgrades, the introduction of new bar facilities, enhanced accessibility through a widened staircase, and the creation of a new priority bar. Phase 2, scheduled for FY27 subject to planning approval, will address façade works, including upgraded external signage to improve the theatre’s visibility along the main Oxford thoroughfare.

CN Projects conducted comprehensive and regular site audits throughout the works to verify contractor compliance across all health, safety, quality, and regulatory requirements. This included reviewing RAMS, monitoring site practices, inspecting workmanship, and ensuring adherence to statutory obligations and project-specific standards. Through proactive oversight and clear reporting, CN Projects helped mitigate risk, maintain programme certainty, and ensure the works were delivered safely, responsibly, and to the required quality benchmarks.
