PROJECT: Fire Door Compliance Works

Client: ATG Entertainment
Location: London
Principal Contractor: Red Dot

Project Value: £140,000

The project comprised new installation, replacement, and remedial works to approximately 50 fire doors at the Ambassadors Theatre, undertaken to enhance fire safety performance and achieve compliance with current fire safety standards. The construction phase was completed over a 7-week programme.

A key challenge of the project was delivering the works within a live theatre environment, where the venue remained fully operational and subject to a demanding show programme. Works were therefore carefully phased and coordinated around rehearsals and performances, with strict controls implemented to manage noise, access, and safety. This approach ensured minimal disruption to theatre operations while maintaining high standards of health, safety, and quality throughout the works.

CN Projects appointed as Health & Safety Advisor and Project Manager to the client for the duration of the project. The project was successfully delivered on time and on budget
