Virgin Active Chiswick Park is a large, full-service health club in west London offering a modern gym floor, extensive group exercise timetable, spa facilities, and a 25 m indoor swimming pool. The club has seen recent upgrades to its gym and wellness areas and operates long daily opening hours, catering to both local residents and professionals.

Recent modifications and improvements at Virgin Active Chiswick Park include a major refurbishment completed in 2025, delivering a fully upgraded gym floor, enhanced Strength & Conditioning areas, and new wellness and recovery spaces. The club also introduced signature programmes such as Lift Club and Reformer Pilates, alongside the addition of Kauai, providing members with convenient access to healthy food and smoothies as part of the overall club experience.
PROJECT: Gym Floor Refurbishment
A phased refurbishment of the existing gym area was delivered, including soft strip-out, new partitions, flooring, ceilings, M&E works, equipment changes, glazing, joinery, signage, finishes and decorations, with specialist contractors engaged for key elements. CN Projects supported the works by carrying out regular Health & Safety site checks, managing CDM 2015 compliance, reviewing documentation and RAMS, confirming training and competence, and delivering toolbox talks to ensure safe working practices within a live gym environment.
PROJECT: Kauai Cafe
The scope of works involved the refurbishment of the existing cycle studio to create a new café and kitchen area. Works included soft strip-out of non-structural elements, construction of new stud partitions, installation of a fully fitted kitchen and serving counter, formation of a café seating area, new floor finishes, and associated electrical and mechanical isolations and installations, all delivered in line with the relevant specialist contractors’ RAMS.

CN Projects provided Health & Safety support throughout the project, undertaking site inspections, reviewing documentation and RAMS, ensuring CDM Regulations 2015 compliance, and supporting safe working practices within a live environment.
